Guest information

Air Conditioning: To help conserve energy your AC has been set at 74 degrees. Please do not turn the unit below 70 degrees if you want it cooler as it will not cool faster, but will freeze the condenser and cause damage to the unit. There is a sensor in your sliding glass door that will interrupt AC functions when the door is open.

ATM: An Automated Bank Teller Machine is available for your convenience at the Kings’ Shops near Whalers General Store and in the food court at the Queens’ Marketplace.  

Barbeque: Please turn off the gas after you are done using the barbeque.

Check Out: Check out time is 11 a.m. Please ensure that you have returned your pool key to the front desk prior to departure.

Cribs: Baby cribs and other supplies are available through an outside provider for a nominal fee.  Please call 808-883-3675 for rates and information.

Doctor: 24-hour emergency service is available at North Hawaii Community Hospital, located in Waimea. Their telephone number is 885-4444. In case of a medical emergency, please dial 911 for immediate assistance.

Emergencies: In case of an emergency in your unit, please call our front office at 808-886-0036. For fire, medical or police emergencies, please do not delay and dial 911.

Fitness Center:  Proper workout attire and shoes are required. Children must be at least 14 years old to use the fitness room.

Front Desk: The Hawaii Vacation Condos by OUTRIGGER front desk staff is available to assist you from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at our office in the Kings’ Shops.  For assistance please call 808-886-0036.

Gasoline: The Shell station at Kings’ Shops is open daily.  Other gas stations are available in Waikoloa Village, Waimea, Kawaihae and Kona.

Golf Courses: Guests of Waikoloa Beach Villas J23 are entitled to special Kings’ Club Membership golf rates at both Waikoloa Beach Resort golf courses. Please call the golf courses direct for tee times, club rentals and course information at 808-886-5172.                     

Grocery Store: The Island Gourmet Market in the Queens’ Marketplace is a full service supermarket with deli and bakery. They are open daily.  Other nearby grocery stores are located in the Waikoloa Highlands Shopping Center in Waikoloa Village The Shops at Mauna Lani. 

Housekeeping/Maintenance:  For housekeeping and/or requests, please contact the Guest Reception Office at 808-886-0036.

Keys: One (1) pool key issued at check-in. A fee of $100 will be charged in the event a key is lost or not returned at checkout.

Laundry: There is a full size washer and dryer in your unit.

Lost & Found:  Before leaving your unit, please double check your belongings and make sure you have not left anything behind.

Maintenance: For maintenance requests, please contact the front desk at 808-886-0036.

Messages & Mail: Incoming mail will be held for you at the front desk.  If you need to have something sent to you, please address it to:

Occupancy: A maximum of six (6) people, including children and infants) are allowed to stay in 2 – bedroom units.

Parking: Please park in non-reserved stalls only. Only two cars per unit is allowed. Violations are subject to fines by the association.

Pool and spa:  Both the pool and spa are open from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. No more then 2 additional guests are allowed with tenants at the pool area.   Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by a guardian at all times. For safety reasons, no child under the age of 10 is allowed to use the spa tub as this is dangerous to their health.

Pool Towels: Yellow and white striped pool towels have been provided for your use during your stay with us. Please make sure to return all towels to your unit after use, do not leave them at the pool, as they will not be returned to us. A $30 charge will be assessed to your bill for each towel not returned to your unit by check out

Pest Control: Hawaii is a tropical climate and pests are common due to the year round warm, humid weather. Pest control service is completed on a regular basis to help minimize the presence of pests.

Pharmacy: Waikoloa Pharmacy is located in the Waikoloa Highlands Center. Please call 808-883-8484 for information.

Post Office: The nearest post office is located in Waikoloa Village. Turn left on HWY 19, then right onto Waikoloa Road.  Drive 6.3 miles and turn right onto Pua Melia Street in Waikoloa Village.

Quiet Time: In consideration of all our guests, full-time residents and owners, please observe quiet time between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.

Refrigerator:  Your refrigerator has been set at factory specifications. Please do not touch the settings, as this may freeze the unit and cause damage.

Security:  Even in paradise there’s no need to offer temptation. Please lock your unit when leaving even for short periods and when retiring for the night. Also remember to lock your rental car doors.

Shopping:  Kings’ Shops, the Queens’ Marketplace, and the nearby Shops at Mauna Lani are open daily.  All offer a variety of shopping and dining opportunities as well as a casual food court in the Queens’ marketplace.  All offer a variety of activities and nightly entertainment.

Trash/Rubbish: Dumpsters are located around the property in lava wall enclosures.              

Valuables: We have a safe available at the guest service office to secure your valuables. The hours of access are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.
