Driving Directions from Lihue Airport to Poipu Sands
The drive is approximately 14.5 miles (about 28 minutes) depending on traffic.
- Exit the airport.
- At the first stoplight, continue straight on HWY 570 (Ahukini Road) for about 1.1 miles until it intersects with HWY 56 (Kuhio Highway).
- Turn left onto HWY 56.
- Stay in the right lane of HWY 56 as it curves right and merges onto HWY 50 (Kaumualii Highway).
- Continue on HWY 50 until you see signs for the Koloa/Poipu exit.
- Turn left onto HWY 520 (Maluhia Road) — enjoy the scenic “Tunnel of Trees.”
- The end of Maluhia Road HWY 520
- Right turn onto Koloa Road
- Turn left on Poipu Road.
- At the roundabout take the third exit onto Poipu Road
- Turn right onto Kapili Road
- On the right you will reach Poipu Kapili- in parking lot turn left

The Association of Apartment Owners hope you enjoy your visit. Please remember:
Poipu Kapili is a totally nonsmoking property.
Please do not smoke anywhere on our property.
The swimming pool is open 8:00am – 8:00pm
For the safe and quiet enjoyment of our owners and guests:
ALL CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.
BABIES MUST WEAR TIGHT FITTING SWIM DIAPERS AT ALL TIMES.
Please report any ‘contamination events’ to the front office or the Property Manager immediately.
NO GLASS CONTAINERS OR OTHER BREAKABLE CONTAINERS ARE ALLOWED.
Diving is strictly prohibited.
As pool area noise travels easily, audio speakers, yelling, excessive noise are not allowed.
Please refrain from playing group games including ball-throwing type games and marco polo.
Only water-wings, ‘floaties’ or floatation devices attached to the body are allowed.
Large pool toys such as rafts, balls, boogie boards, surf boards or scuba gear are NOT allowed.

Usage of our Gas and Charcoal grilling is permitted from 11:00am-10:00 pm
Please do not use lighter fluid products at the charcoal grill. A ‘chimney’ is provided for your use, but please leave it at the grilling area for our other guests.
Please reserve tennis/pickle ball courts with the front office 808-977-7278.
The courts will be closed until completely dry after a rain. Please do not play on courts that are wet or have puddled water on them.
No items are to be left on the front, back and upper lanais, railings or patio furniture.
Other than footwear, please do not leave any items at the front door of the units. Please no bikes, towels, clothing, swimsuits, surfboards, pool or beach toys, etc. These items create both an eyesore and maintenance problems for our wooden buildings. Please dry your towels and other items indoors.
