    Guest information

    Air conditioning: To help conserve energy your AC has been set at 74 degrees. Please do not turn the unit below 70 degrees if you want it cooler as it will not cool faster, but will freeze the condenser and damage the unit. There is a sensor on your sliding glass door that will interrupt AC functions when the door is open.

    Beach Club: For access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club please use the Beach Club Access Card provided at check-in. You are welcome to use the services offered but cannot charge back to your unit.

    Beach Club Access Card: One beach club access card is issued at check-in.  This card is used to access the parking area for the Mauna Lani Beach Club.  A fee of $150 will be charged in the event a beach club access card is lost or not returned at check-out.

    Check Out: Check out time is 11:00 am. Please ensure that you have returned your keys, garage clicker, pool fob and beach club access card to the front desk prior to departure.

    Cribs: Baby cribs and other supplies are available through outside service providers for a fee.  Please contact the front desk for more information.

    Doctor: 24-hour emergency service is available at North Hawaii Community Hospital, located in Waimea. Their telephone number is 808-885-4444. In case of a medical emergency, please dial 911 for immediate assistance.

    Emergencies: In case of an emergency in your unit, please call our front office at 808-886-0036. For fire, medical or police emergencies, please do not delay and dial 911 for emergency services.

     Fitness Center: Proper workout attire and shoes are required. Children must be at least 14 years old to use the fitness room.

    Gasoline: The Shell station at Kings’ Shops shopping center in the Waikoloa Beach Resort is open daily.  Other gas stations are available in Waikoloa Village, Waimea, Kawaihae and Kona.

    Guest Reception: Guest Reception staff are available to assist you daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at our office in the Kings’ Shops.  For assistance please call 808-886-0036.

    Golf courses: There are two golf courses at Mauna Lani Resort known as the Francis H. I’I Brown Golf Courses.  As a guest staying in the Mauna Lani Resort, you are eligible for a special guest rate at the Francis H. I’I Brown Golf Courses.  Guests should call the golf courses directly for rates and tee times.

    Grocery store: Foodland Farms at the Shops at Mauna Lani is open daily.  The Island Gourmet Market at the Queens’ Marketplace in the Waikoloa beach Resort and the Village Market at Waikoloa Highlands Shopping Center in Waikoloa are also full-service supermarkets with deli and bakery.

    Guest parking: Please park in assigned garage only and make sure not to block any garages or covered parking stalls. Second vehicle may be parked in non-reserved stall with required parking placard hanging on rear view mirror.  Commercial or oversized vehicles may not be parked on the premises overnight. All non-registered guests must leave the property by 10pm, or be subject to towing.

    Keys: 2 front door keys, a pool entry fob, garage clicker and Beach Club access card are issued at check-in per unit. A fee of $100 will be charged in the event a front door key is lost or not returned at checkout. A $75 fee each will be charged for a missing pool entry fob or garage clicker. A $150 fee each will be charged for a missing Beach Club access card.  A $75 fee will be charged for a missing parking placard.

    Laundry: There is a full size washer and dryer in your unit. Please use ‘HE’ (high efficiency) laundry detergent only.  Use one third to one half cup of detergent per load.

    Lost & Found: Before leaving your unit, please double check your belongings and make sure you have not left anything behind.  

    Maintenance: For maintenance requests, please contact the front desk at 808-886-0036.

    Messages & Mail: Incoming mail will be held for you at the front desk.  If you need to have something sent to you, please address it to:

    Pest control: Hawaii a tropical climate and pests are common due to the year round warm, humid weather. Pest control service is completed on a regular basis to help minimize the presence of pests.

    Pharmacy: Waikoloa Pharmacy is located in the Waikoloa Highlands Center. Please call 808-883-8484 for information.

    Pool area: The pool and hot tub are open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm for guest use. Please observe all posted signs. No more than 4 additional guests are allowed with tenants at the pool area. A fob is needed to access the pool area.  Waive the fob in front of the entry key pad on the pool gate and the gate will open.  A fee of $75 will be charged in the event a pool access fob is lost or not returned at check-out.

    Post office:  The nearest post office is located in Waikoloa Village. Turn left on HWY 19, then right onto Waikoloa Road.  Drive 6.3 miles and turn right onto Pua Melia Street in Waikoloa Village.

    Quiet Time: In consideration of all our guests, full-time residents and owners, please observe quiet time between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.

    Refrigerator:  Your refrigerator has been set at factory specifications. Please do not touch the settings, as this may freeze the unit and cause damage.

    Security:  Even in paradise there’s no need to offer temptation. Please lock your unit when leaving even for short periods and when retiring for the night. Also remember to lock your rental car doors.

    Shopping:  The Shops at Mauna Lani, Kings’ Shops and Queens’ Marketplace in the Waikoloa Beach Resort offer a variety of shopping and dining opportunities as well as a casual food court in the Queens’ Marketplace. You will find nightly entertainment and activities. All 3 centers are open daily.             

    Telephone: There is no charge for local, toll-free and calling card calls, but access to long distance service has been restricted in all units. Please use your calling card or cell phone for long distance service.

    Trash: Dumpsters for your trash are located in rock enclosures near buildings A, F and H.  All trash must be bagged and placed inside the dumpster.  If the dumpster closest to your unit is full, please use one of the other dumpsters.  Do not leave any bagged or un-bagged trash on the ground inside the rock enclosure.

    Valuables:  We have a safe available at the front desk to secure your valuables. The hours of access are daily 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
