Guest information

Air Conditioning: To help preserve your AC, the thermostat has been set at 72 degrees. Please do not turn the unit below 70 degrees if you want it cooler as it will not cool faster, but will freeze the condenser and cause damage to the unit. There is a sensor in your sliding glass door that will interrupt AC functions when the door is open.

Beach Club: For access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club please use the Beach Club Access Card provided at check-in. You are welcome to use the services offered but cannot charge back to your unit.

Beach Club Access Card: One beach club access card is issued at check-in.  This card is used to access the parking area for the Mauna Lani Beach Club.  A fee of $150 will be charged in the event a beach club access card is lost or not returned at check-out.

Check Out: Check out time is 11 a.m. Upon check-out, please ensure you have all your belongings. Housekeeping will take care of cleaning the unit and washing all linens/towels after your departure.

Express check out: Save time by leaving your unit key on the kitchen counter. Be sure to call the Guest Reception Office, 808-886-0036, just before your departure. Check-out time is 11:00 am. If you are leaving before 9:00 am, please call the Guest Reception Office and leave your name, unit number and departure time.

Cribs: For baby cribs and other equipment rental information, please call 808-886-0036 for vendor referrals.

 Doctor/medical services/emergencies: 24-hour emergency service is available at North Hawaii Community Hospital, located in Waimea. Their telephone number is 808-885-4444. In case of a medical emergency, please dial 911 for immediate assistance.

Front Desk: The Hawaii Vacation Condos by OUTRIGGER front desk staff is available to assist you from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at our office in the Kings’ Shops.  For assistance please call 808-886-0036.

Fitness Center:  The fitness center is located near the pool and is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. The electronic entry code is 8624. Sign-up sheets are on the gym door and is limited up to 30 minutes to 1-hour. It is restricted to one family/party at a time.

Gasoline: The Shell station at Kings’ Shops is open from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Other gas stations are available in Waikoloa Village, Waimea, Kawaihae and Kona.

Golf Courses: There are two golf courses at Mauna Lani Resort known as the Francis H. I’i Brown Golf Courses, and guests can play either the north or south course.  Guests should call the golf courses directly for rates and tee times.

Grocery Store: The Foodland Farms Market at the Shops at Mauna Lani is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Island Gourmet Market at the Queens’ Marketplace is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The KTA at Waikoloa Highlands Shopping Center in Waikoloa Village is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Keys:  One (1) pool key issued at check-in. A fee of $250 will be charged in the event a key is lost or not returned at checkout.

Lanai:  Hanging laundry on the lanais is strictly prohibited. No beach towels or the like shall be hung from anywhere on any lanai including the railings on the second floor of any unit and no dryer racks of any kind shall be used that is visible from the outside of the unit.

Laundry: There is a full size washer and dryer in your unit.

Lost & Found:  Before leaving your unit, please double check your belongings and make sure you have not left anything behind.

Messages & Mail: Incoming mail will be held for you at the front desk.  If you need to have something sent to you, please address it to:

Occupancy: A maximum of six (6) people, including children and infants are allowed.

Parking: Guests must register their vehicle with the office upon arrival and can park in any open parking stall. 

Register Car – You must pick up a parking pass from outside the site manager’s office (the pink slip). Fill out the top portion and hang it from your rear-view mirror and drop the bottom portion in the box.

Pool and spa:  Both the pool and spa are open from 8am to 9pm and located near the entrance of the complex. Children under 12 must always be accompanied by an adult. Children ages 8-12 must be accompanied by an adult present in the spa. Please review the pool and spa rules attached. Pool Wifi Password: enjoyhawaii

Pool Towels: Yellow and white striped pool towels have been provided for your use during your stay with us. Please make sure to return all towels to your unit after use, do not leave them at the pool, as they will not be returned to us. A $30 charge will be assessed to your bill for each towel not returned to your unit by check out

Pest Control: Hawaii is a tropical climate and pests are common due to the year round warm, humid weather. Pest control service is completed on a regular basis to help minimize the presence of pests.

Quiet Time: In consideration of all our guests, full-time residents and owners, please observe quiet time between 10pm to 8am.

Refrigerator:  Your refrigerator has been set at factory specifications. Please do not touch the settings, as this may freeze the unit and cause damage.

Security:  Even in paradise there’s no need to offer temptation. Please lock your unit when leaving even for short periods and when retiring for the night. Also remember to lock your rental car doors.

Smoking: This unit is a non-smoking unit. Please do not smoke in the condo or on the lanai.

Trash/Rubbish: All garbage must be enclosed in plastic bags and put into bins provided. ALL cardboard must be cut down, flattened, and put in the garbage. No waste materials may be left outside the containers. The dumpster is located on your right before you reach building 12          

Valuables: We have a safe available at the guest service office to secure your valuables. The hours of access are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily
